There's Someone Inside Your House by Stephanie Perkins

 

Due to tragic events Makani has left her beloved Hawaii and her unsupportive parents. Her parents have sent her to live with her grandmother in a small town in Nebraska. Fitting in isn't easy but luckily she has a small group of good friends. 

Makani and her friends are living their normal teenage life until a teen is murdered. More teens are murdered and you suddenly find yourself in a Scream type franchise. The entire town is walking on eggshells, everyone is suspect and on edge.

This is a perfect horror slash read but be warned that the movie doesn't do the book justice. Skip the movie, read the book.
