Child of God by Cormac Mccarthy

Chilling...!

This is quite possibly the most disturbing novel, I have ever read. Despite this is was hard to put down and I read in within hours. Once again, McCarthy's writing is a piece of art. His work is compelling and moving. Child of God presents us with unforgettable, disturbing and disgusting character's.

Child of God is beyond anything I have ever read, it is unique and with that being said, it is not a book for everyone. It deals with topics such as murder, incest and necrophilia. There is not one boring moment in this novel and it ends with a bang.

This novel is delightfully disturbing and gives an insight into the deepest evil a human can posses.

Grade: A+
