The Secret Between Us by Barbara Delinsky

When I first started reading "The Secret Between Us" it felt as thought I was reading a generic Jodi Picoult novel however as I read more of the novel I found myself enjoying Delinsky's easy to read writing style. This novel is a simple read and you can easily sympathize with most of the characters. However the ending is disappointing and a bit unrealistic.

The novel follows the relationship between and mother and daughter and how an accident one rainy night that is surrounded by lies can change a person and how the truth can set you free. The novel also examines the relationships between fathers and daughters and sisters. It's a simple read and could easily be made into a cheesy Lifetime movie.
