I will admit that I was rather hesitant to read Summer and the City, since I disliked the Carrie Diaries but I found it to be much more interesting.
This book flows and Carrie's friendship with other characters flourishes and expands. The, Carrie from the, Sex and the City series begins to emerge and this make for a satisfying read.
The relationship with, Samantha and Miranda builds as Carrie falls in love with New York City and all it has to offer.
A perfect beach read!
Grade: A-
