Misguided Angel (Blue Bloods, Book 5) by Melissa de la Cruz

The Blue Blood Series is quite enjoyable and entertaining, Misguided Angel was a rather short novel in which my favorite characters, Jack and Schuyler made few appearances.

This book focuses on Mimi and her new role in the vampire community. You will be pleasantly surprised at her character change and might find yourself actually liking her.

There is also an introduction of a new character, who I think will be making more appearances in future novels.

This book is more of a "filler" and while I enjoyed it I recommend waiting until it is paperback because the hardback cost is not justified in a book that is under 300 pages.

This is probably my least favorite of the books in this series but I imagine it is only to set up what I anticipate to be some great additions to this series.

The ending sets up for the next book, which I am extremely excited about!

Grade: B-

Synopsis [B&N}

After inheriting the dark Van Alen Legacy, Schuyler fled to Florence—with her forbidden love, Jack. Now the two of them must embark on the mission Schuyler was destined to complete: to find and protect the seven gates that guard earth from Lucifer, lord of the Silverbloods.

As the Blue Blood enclave weakens yet further, fate leads Schuyler closer to a terrifying crossroads—and a choice that will determine the destiny of all vampires
