A Killing Cold by Kate Alice Marshall

Theo and Conner met six months ago and instantly fell in love. Conner proposed and now Theo is off to meet his family. The gather each year at their cabin for a family retreat. The location is secluded and his family will not be easy to please. They are ultra wealthy and powerful.

Theo has been receiving threatening messages warning her to stay away from Connor Dalton but the messages continue while at the retreat and she feels as though someone is following her. While exploring a cabin she has no business in she finds a photo of herself as a child.

A few childhood memories start to resurface. They were long forgotten but the more she remembers the more she realizes just how much danger she is in.

Very few of the characters are likable. The twists and turns keep the book moving along at a fast past. Expect a lot of family drama as you become involved in this psychological thriller.
