Juliette is being kept captive by the establishment in a small room. It's been 264 days since she touched anyone. Her touch has the power to kill others. The establishment wants to us her power as a weapon. It's unknown why her touch kills others. She's alone and one could even say lonely until Adam is tossed into her room with her.
The slowly develop a friendship and Adam discovers he is immune to her touch. This allows for a deeper relationship to build and they are going to need it in order to escape from the establishment and save others.
The writing style isn't exactly my favorite. It takes some getting used to. I look forward to seeing what is in store for Juliette.
