Firefly Lane #1 By Kristin Hannah

Firefly Lane is about the friendship between Kate and Tully. It span over three decades from the 1970s thru the millenium. They experience major life events together and are known as TullyandKate. They are pulled apart and brought together due to a variety of events proving time and time again that their friendship is strong even when they think it's weak.

They are an unlikely pair but it works for them. Sometimes opposites attract but then they are torn apart. Hannah's storytelling and writing makes you yearn for a friendship similar to that of TullyandKate. It's believable and moving.

I wish I hadn't taken so long to read it. I watched the Netflix series and I am surprised at how well it captures the essence of the book.  You won't want to miss out on either.
